Camp scholarships

Day Solutions Foundation has been awarding scholarships to special needs camps, since it's origination in June of 2016. We currently offer scholarships for both full week, and weekend camps throughout the state of Missouri. Applicants to camp must be 13 years of age or older, and there are no current individual or family income requirements.

To ensure the safety and security of all campers that we support, a member of the Day Solutions Foundation will conduct a site visit to any new camps for which a scholarship has been requested.

In 2017, DSF initiated the creation of a Missouri Specialty License Plate, Uniting All Abilities, to create a permanent source of funding for these scholarships. Purchase your plate today and help share in the joy of sending someone special to camp this year!

Availability

Requests for scholarships are available year round. Requests for camp are reviewed quarterly by our board of directors and individuals shall be notified when a decision has been made. Payments will be sent directly to the approved camp of choice during the registration period.

special events

Each quarter, Day Solutions Foundation puts on a social engagement event for teens and adults. In the past, some of our events have included dances, music night, community outings, and a talent show. Our events for 2018 have already been scheduled, and can be found here. We are still looking for partners for our July and October events and are always open to suggestions for new and additional events throughout the year. All events are free to participants, supervised, safe and fun.

We are always looking for new and fun opportunities for social engagements as well as local businesses to partner with to provide these events.
